This module on Exploring Professionalism has served as an introduction to the benefits of professional learning communities and promoting a culture of professional inquiry. Developing collegial relationships to provide feedback and share strategies and methods to stay current on content and pedagogy are key teacher-related practices in developing and maintaining professionalism. The module concluded with an exploration of how teachers can model lifelong learning by developing a professional growth plan.

Part 1: Develop an informational piece to share with your colleagues addressing the benefits of:
1.) Participating in an in-house Professional Learning Community and providing collegial support.
2.) Improving practice through professional development within your district.
3.) Building respect and rapport with both colleagues and other members of the school community.
4) Strengthening content knowledge and pedagogical skills through Professional Growth Plans.
This informational piece (no longer than two pages in length) can take the form of a staff newsletter, flyer, or digital story using any instructor-approved program. Submit the project (or website url for online projects).Part 2: Write a well-developed paragraph of approximately five to seven sentences describing your thought process and the considerations involved in the development of the informational piece.
