Making a Difference as a Teacher

As educators, we recognize that there is tension between the amount of time spent ensuring that our instruction meets the standards and the amount of time spent providing additional instruction that engages students’ personal interests. In this course we will learn how to provide students with a standards-based education, while imTeacher Instructing Studentmersing them in instruction that addresses their needs and encourages the higher order thinking skills that they will require to become lifelong learners.
